Haryana girls subdued Chhattisgarh 83-68 in a league match of the 28th National youth basketball championship on Saturday. The third consecutive victory for Haryana, after it had beaten Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh earlier, saw the team top the group in qualifying for the knockout.

In the boys' section, Haryana outclassed Kerala 98-61 thanks to smart play by Himanshu Sharma (36) and Rahul Sharma (33).
