Guntur Medical College defeated Rangarayya Medical College by 35 runs in the final of the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences inter-collegiate T20 cricket tournament here on Friday.

GMC made 128 for nine in 20 overs with Uday making 53. In reply, Rangarayya made 93 in 18.4 overs.

The Anantapur District Cricket Association is conducting a summer coaching camp from May 1 to 21 at Anantapur Sports Village and Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy stadium.

The AP Volleyball Association is conducting a meeting at the Century Club in Visakhapatnam on Sunday morning to condole the death of president of Volleyball Federation of India and former president of Indian Olympic Association B. Sivanthi Adityan.
