NEW DELHI: Five Indian athletes qualified for the Youth Olympic Games to be held in Singapore in August through the qualification meet held in Singapore on May 22 and 23.

Indians bagged three gold, one silver and one bronze in the meet. Durgesh Kumar Patel (400m hurdles gold, 52.04s), Arjun Singh (discus gold, 63.97m), Inderjit Pal (3000m gold, 8:16.26), Kuldeep (10,000m walk bronze, 51:39.34) and woman walker Kushbir Kaur (5000m walk 25:58.37) were the qualifiers.

A total of 19 Indian athletes participated in the meet.
