Elvin Keo of Malaysia survived a tough match for the second day in succession in the men's open on Thursday, before booking a semifinal berth in the ISP-Minute Maid squash carnival, jointly hosted by Khar Gymkhana and Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhana Club.

The sixth seed, having overcame a close call against Ashray Ohri in the quarterfinals and winning 12-10 in the decider, was put to the test in the quarterfinals by Gaurav Nandrajog before winning 11-7, 11-9. 1-11, 14-12.
