NEW DELHI: India warmed up for tougher challenges ahead with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Hong Kong in its opening match in pool `B' in the Asia-Oceania junior Davis Cup under-16 boys tennis championship at Bangkok on Monday.
Yuki Bhambri won both his singles and doubles matches for the loss of just seven games after Ronak Manuja had got the team off the blocks with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Ryan Ho.
India will take on the unseeded China on Tuesday. China upset fourth-seeded Japan 2-1 winning the first singles and the decisive doubles.

Pool `B': China bt Japan 2-1; India bt Hong Kong 3-0 (Ronak Manuja bt Ryan Ho 6-4, 6-2; Yuki Bhambri bt Dino Andrea Dell-Orto 6-3, 6-2; Yuki Bhambri and Christopher Marquis bt Dino Andrea and Ryan Ho 6-2, 6-0).
Pool `C': Thailand bt Pakistan 3-0; Korea bt Sri Lanka 3-0.
Pool `D': New Zealand bt Indonesia 3-0; Chinese Taipei bt Philippines 3-0.
