KOLKATA: East Bengal thrashed George Telegraph 4-0 in its concluding match of the Kolkata Football League's premier division here at the Salt Lake Stadium on Wednesday.

Young striker Budhiram Tudu struck twice in the second session while Riston Rodrigues and Abel Hammond accounted for one each to help East Bengal finish third in the league standings.

After completing its quota of 15 matches, East Bengal tallied 30 points to finish behind Chirag United SC and holder Mohun Bagan, who are tied on top with 33 points and have two more matches to play to decide the championship.
