There is a cloud of uncertainty over the continuation of Brazilian Marcos Falopa as coach of East Bengal, with some club officials talking about his impending resignation owing to the team’s underperformance.

Management unhappy

Falopa, who guided East Bengal to the AFC Cup semifinals little over a month ago, is under pressure as the club’s management is apparently unhappy with him following the team’s recent poor showing in the I-League.

Falopa took over the reigns at East Bengal in July after his appointment as new chief coach was announced with much fanfare. — Principal Correspondent
