It was double delight for KSEB as it won both the men's and women's titles in the Mahindra NBA basketball challenge tournament at the Central stadium on Sunday.

KSEB men downed Kerala Police 59-42 in the final while KSEB women easily beat SAI, Thalassery 61-44 in the final.

The much-awaited clash between KSEB and Kerala Police turned out to be a mismatch as KSEB overwhelmed its rival. Policemen sparked briefly but failed to sustain the momentum as KSEB's experience took over.

The women's final was a tame affair with KSEB calling the shots from the start. S.S.Anjana was in fine nick and top-scored with 22 points. The impressive SAI, Kozhikode boys won the under-18 title.

The gangling lads of SAI had the obvious advantage in height which they utilised to hilt to beat back a strong challenge from St.Joseph's HS in the final. However, St.Joseph's HS won a double winning the boys under-13 and under-16 titles.
