Four goals by Daler Singh and a hat-trick by Karamjit Singh powered Punjab and Sind Bank to a 10-0 victory over Northern Railway after it had led 5-0 at halftime in a preliminary round match of the ONGC 49th Nehru hockey tournament at the Shivaji Stadium here on Friday.

Sarvanjit Singh, Ramandeep Singh and Parminder Singh scored the other goals for the winner.

In another match, Indian Air Force beat Indian Navy 3-0 in the tie-break after the teams were locked 2-2 at the end of the regulation period.

Lovepreet Singh and Sanawar scored for IAF while Sunil and Kuldeep found the target for Navy. In the tie-break, Harwant, Alam and Sanawar converted for IAF while Markus missed the second shot.

In contrast, Bharat Singh, Naveen Kumar and Prateek missed for the Navy team, forcing the end of the tie-break after the team had taken only three strokes.
