Lucie Hradecka and Kveta Peschke beat Russians Maria Kirilenko and Elena Vesnina 6-4, 6-2 in the decisive doubles rubber to win the Fed Cup final for Czech Republic here on Sunday.

Earlier, Petra Kvitova had put the visitors 2-1 ahead after beating Svetlana Kuznetsova 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, before Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova took the tie to the decisive doubles by ousting Lucie Safarova 6-2, 6-4.

On Saturday, Kvitova had beaten Kirilenko 6-2, 6-2, while Kuznetsova levelled things with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Safarova. — Agencies
