Ngureilal opened the account for the Sappers in the 29th minute before Nigelraj and Barjhon added to the tally. Harsh pulled one back for the promoted DYSS side with a 70th minute effort.
CIL scored a solitary goal win over SAI in an A division league match earlier. Kanikraj netted the all-important goal for CIL in the 43rd minute.

Christ University blanked CMR Institute of Management Studies 5-0 to romp into the quarterfinals of the Rotary- KSFA Presidents Cup inter-collegiate football tournament at the football stadium here on Saturday. Christ, tied on points (four) with Vidyavahini College in Cluster IV, advanced on better goal difference (plus five to Vidyavahini’s plus four).
Also advancing into the round of eight was Al Ameen and Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies.
