M. Rajendra Chaitanya of India has been awarded the bronze medal in the recently concluded Asian junior weightlifting championship held in Kyrgyzstan, according to a press release here.

Chaitanya had finished fourth in the original standings. However, with the gold medallist testing positive for using banned substances, the placings were revised.

Revised final placings: 105 kg: 1. Kanrawangchai Tinnaphop (THA) 332 kg (146+186), 2. Tang Yimeng (CHN) 327 kg (146+181), 3. M. Rajendra Chaitanya (IND) 292 kg (127+165).
