Central Railway (Mumbai) overcame Kerala Police 63-52 and entered the women’s final of the JCI all-India basketball tournament at the St. Aloysius floodlit stadium on Saturday.

In the final, Central Railway will meet the winner of the other semifinal between KSEB and South Western Railway.

IOB and ONGC moved into the semifinals topping their respective groups.

IOB crushed Vijaya Bank 72-33 to top group ‘A’. However, Vijaya Bank also qualified for the semifinals as the group runner-up. ONGC downed Customs and Central Excise 78-63 and both teams qualified from group ‘B’ as winner and runner-up.

The results: Men: League: IOB, Chennai 72 (Rikin Prathan 14, Pratham Singh 11) bt Vijaya Bank, Bangalore 33; ONGC, Dehradun 78 (Vishesh Brighwanshi 20, Yadwinder Singh 20, Murali Krishna 11) bt Customs and Central Excise, Kochi 63 (K.R. Nikhil 28, R. Manoj 17).
