World No. 1 (by ELO rating) Magnus Carlsen, on Monday, will play simultaneous chess with 20 talented children from Tamil Nadu aged between seven and 17 years, who have won medals in international competitions, at MOP Vaishnav College for women.
The Grandmaster from Norway will play five-time world champion Viswanathan Anand for the World Chess Championship. The event is scheduled to take place in the city from November 6 to 26. — Special Correspondent
