Laishram Bombayla Devi of Railways set two National records and Tarundeep Rai broke one on the second day of the 32nd Sahara senior National archery (recurve and compound) championship at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur on Thursday.
Bombayla established a new mark in women's 60m event by scoring 345 points out of 360 which bettered Reena Kumari's 337 achieved at Ernakulam in 2005. Bombayla's second record came in the 50m event where her score of 333 obliterated Dola Banerjee's mark of 331 set at the same venue in 2008.
In winning the men's 30m event, Rai scored 357 out of 360 which upstaged Mangal Singh Champia's 356 set at Pune. Rai also won the 70m event and came second in 50m. Bombayla finished second behind junior world champion Deepika Kumari in women's 30m event.
