Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka by three wickets in the third and final ODI here on Thursday to level the series 1-1.

Bangladesh, chasing a rain-revised target of 183 off 27 overs, won with six balls to spare. Opener Anamul Haque (40) and Nasir Hossain (33 not out) were the main scorers for Bangladesh.

Earlier, Tillakaratne Dilshan top-scored for Sri Lanka with a solid 125, while Kusal Perera (56) and Kumar Sangakkara (48) were the other main scorers.

Left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak finished with figures of five for 62 off 10 overs for Bangladesh. Sri Lanka won the opening match in Hambantota while the second was washed out. — AFP
