Defending champion Australia arrived here on Thursday evening in the lead-up to the ICC World Cup commencing on February 19.
Ricky Ponting's men are scheduled to play two warm-up games against India and South Africa at the Chinnaswamy Stadium here on February 13 and 15.
Ponting, who has recovered from a finger injury that kept him out of the limited overs matches against England, had said that he was ‘feeling fresh' before boarding the flight to India from Sydney. The team will train here over the next few days.
Australia will open its World Cup campaign with its Group A match against Zimbabwe at Ahmedabad on February 21. — Special Correspondent
