The team of Ashwini Bhat and Prarthana Vasudevan, from DPS South, grabbed two doubles trophies at the 10th Ramesh Padukone-Mehul Sirur memorial inter-school badminton tournament here on Wednesday.

The pair won the girls’ under-16 and under-14 doubles titles with ease.

Lakshman triumphs

M.L. Lakshman won the Indian Oil Servo-Bank of Baroda sub-junior State-ranking snooker championship at the KSBA here on Wednesday. Lakshman had earlier won the billiards title.

Semifinals: Lakshman bt Samson Raj 38-31, 79-39; Mehta bt Pranav Prabhakar 59-16, 67-17.
