MUMBAI: Mumbai FC cashed in on defensive lapses by Salgaocar SC to win 2-1 in the ONGC I-League here on Friday.

Evans Quao claimed credit for the first goal in the second minute, though the ball was kicked into the net past Kalyan Chaubey into the goal by one of the Salgaocar defenders.

Keita Mandjou bulged the net with a power-packed header from around the penalty spot for Salgaocar’s equaliser.

Mumbai FC striker Kayne Vincent, who came on as substitute, scored the match-winner. — Special Correspondent
