Jamal Mohamed College retained the title in the Bharathidasan University inter-zonal football tournament here recently.
It was a two-way tie for the top spot with Jamal Mohamed and St. Joseph’s College finishing with two wins and a draw at the end of the four-team league. But the former was adjudged winner on better goal difference.
Meanwhile, H.H. The Rajah’s College and host AVVM Sri Pushpam College were tied for the third spot with one draw and two losses. H.H. The Rajah’s, with a superior goal difference, bagged the third spot.
