UST Global Reds with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Infosys Blacks retained the title in the Goal 2012 football tournament at the LNCPE, Kariyavattom on Sunday.
The all-important goal of the match was scored by Abdul Rahiman midway through the first-half.
UST Global Blacks took the third spot, with Anand scoring the deciding goal against Tata Elxsi in the losers’ final.
Ratheesh (Nest) won the top-scorer award while Rinu Thomas (UST Global Reds) was adjudged the player of the tournament.
