The Kerala Basketball Association will conduct open trials to select the senior State teams at 1 p.m. at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Ernakulam on August 25. The trials are only for players who are not taking part in the Mahindra NBA Challenge tournament, currently going on in Ernakulam. The South Zone championship will be held in Hyderabad from Sept. 5 to 9.
Kuruvilla to visit MSCA
At Thiruvalla, former India fast bowler Aby Kuruvilla will conduct a coaching camp for the players of Mannanam State Cricket Academy from Aug. 21 to 26. About 30 players will participate in the camp which will be held at the St. Ephrem’s Cricket Stadium. — Principal Correspondent
