Coimbatore: Coimbatore’s Joseph. J. Chakola totalled two under 286 and emerged winner of the Aircel-PGTI 2009 final qualifying stage, which concluded at the Gurgaon Golden Greens Golf and Country Club on Friday.

Chakola fired a four under 68 in the final round and edged out his nearest rival Shiva Ram Shrestha (one under 287) of Nepal for the title. Australia’s Anthony Paul Choat (three over 291) claimed the third position.
