Defending champion India will play Syria in the opening match of the Nehru Cup football tournament, which kicks-off at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, here on August 22. The final is slated on Sept. 2.
Cameroon, Nepal and Maldives make up the five-team competition.
The Indian squad, presently undergoing a preparatory camp in Bangalore, is likely to relocate to Jaypee Greens, Greater Noida, from Aug. 16. — Special Correspondent
