Mumbai Indians will defend the Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20) title in South Africa. The CLT20 winner in Chennai last time, MI will be joined by IPL-5 champion Kolkata Knight Riders, semifinalists Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Daredevils for the October 9 to 28 event.
The fourth CLT20 will be conducted by South Africa at Centurion, Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg. Titans and Highveld Lions represent the home nation. Other competing sides are Sydney Sixers, Perth Scorchers (Australia), Trinidad and Tobago (West Indies), Auckland Aces (New Zealand) and Sialkot Stallions (Pakistan).
According to information from the CLT20 Governing Council, the qualifier from Sri Lanka will be determined at the conclusion of SL T20 in August 2012. Two teams to represent England will be known when the top two sides are identified after the domestic T20 ends in the same month. — Special Correspondent
