A new crop of talented juniors will be shouldering the prospect of helping the country extend its supremacy in the South Asian junior table tennis championship, which comes up here at the picturesque Meghalaya capital from Sunday.
With India expected to dominate in all the junior and cadet team and individual events, it has generated significant interest in the region.
The Indian squad: Boys: Junior: Sudhanshu Grover, Abhishek Yadav, Vivek Bhargava, R. Anandhraj. Cadet: Birdie Boro, Utkarsh Gupta, Lalrinpuia.
Girls: T. Reeth Rishya, Mallika Bhandarkar, Narasimha Priya, Senhora D'Souza. Cadet: Karnam Spoorthy, Sutirtha Mukherjee, Ayihika Mukherjee.
