APFA affairs

In a bid to put an end to the groupism in the Andhra Pradesh Football Association, P.R. Das Munshi, Union Minister and president of the All India Football Federation, set a deadline of one week to set the house in order or face disaffiliation, according to a senior official of APFA.

At a specially convened meeting at Lake View guest house in the City on Saturday afternoon, Das Munshi also issued a veiled threat that if the factions don't patch up by forming an ad-hoc committee comprising two members from each, then the AIFF will have to take serious note of the internal squabbling in the State body.
