Dubai: A day after newspapers were splashed with the report of ICC rebuking Team India coach Greg Chappell, cricket's governing body On Wednesday clarified that it has not issued any warning to the Aussie for making any comments on Pakistani pace ace Shoaib Akhtar's action.

Pakistani daily The News on Tuesday quoted a Pakistan Cricket Board source saying that the ICC had warned Chappell to refrain from making any comment on Akhtar's bowling action.

He said the code of conduct did not come into play in Chappell's case as neither the referee nor PCB had laid any charge on the Indian coach. UNI
