London: Zaheer Khan, India's left-arm medium fast bowler, claimed his career-best haul of nine for 139 for Worcestershire against Essex in Division 2 of the County Championship game on the third day at Chelmsford.
Replying to Worcestershire's mammoth 650 for seven declared, Essex was tottering at 186 for nine with the Indian left arm seamer claiming all the wickets at close on the second day on Thursday.
Richard Johnson was the last player to take all 10 wickets in an innings of a County Championship match, with figures of 10-45 for Middlesex against Derbyshire in 1994.
