In another match, K. Bharath Shankar’s 108 helped St. Bede’s ‘A’ beat Chinmaya Vidyalaya by 166 runs.

The scores: St. Bede’s ‘A’ 275 for four in 30 overs (Araman Shoaib Ahmed 86, K. Bharath Shankar 108, M. Shahrukh Khan 26 not out) bt Chinmaya Vidyalaya 109 for eight in 30 overs.

Karate championship

The COLT Institute of Karate and Holistic Health will be organising a National-level championship at the JJ Indoor Stadium on July 11 and 12. Over 500 participants from across the country are expected to figure in the competitions in the presence of Kyoshi Dennis May of New Zealand and R. Thiagarajan, President, All India Karate Federation.
