SILIGURI: Orissa was in control against Bengal in their Ranji Trophy Super League match here on Monday. Orissa, needing 133 to win, reached 82 for three at stumps on the second day.

Resuming at zero for no loss, Bengal was restricted to 124 with Debasis Mohanty claiming four wickets.

At Nagothane, Delhi made 278 for five chasing Maharashtra’s 219. Rajat Bhatia, who shone with the ball, was unbeaten on 66.

At Mysore, K.B. Pawan (110, 269b, 9x4, 1x6) took Karnataka to 216 for nine in reply to Saurashtra’s 245. For the visitor, left-arm medium-pacer Sandeep Jobanputra bowled exceptionally well to bag six wickets.
