KOCHI: Southern Railway’s top-seeded K. Ratnakaran defeated Tamil Nadu’s second-seeded R.R. Laxman and moved into the sole lead after the sixth round of the Sunny Diamonds-RSC all-India FIDE-rated chess tournament at the Regional Sports Centre here on Friday.
Tamil Nadu’s Vinoth Kumar upset P. Shyam Nikhil in another sixth-round clash.
