St. Bede’s 98 for six in 25 overs bt DAV (Mogappair) 74 in 23.2 overs (Vishal Sundar three for 18).

Don Bosco 144 for nine in 30 overs (Sharukh Khan 81 n.o., Govindarajan 28, Prashant Srinivas four for 32) bt PS SSS 77 in 25.3 overs (M.S. Suraj 29, Vignesh Kumar four for 14).

Doveton Corie 71 for eight in 23 overs bt Chettinad Vidyashram 54 in 20 overs.

Modern 124 for five in 30 overs (K.B. Didshit 27) bt Bhavan’s Rajaji Vidyashram 78 in 26 overs (S. Ullaskumar three for eight).

Facile win for Chettinad

Chettinad Vidyashram beat Sindhi Model Senior Secondary School by 10 wickets in the inaugural match of the Dr. Rajkumar Memorial invitation cricket tournament for CBSE schools at Marina Ground on Thursday.

Sindhi Model Senior Secondary school 49 for six in 12 overs (P. Hari three for 10) lost to Chettinad Vidyashram 50 for no loss in 6.5 overs (Abishek Mehra 30 not out).

Big win for St. Bede’s ‘B’

St. Bede’s ‘B’ defeated Gill Adarsh ‘A’ by seven wickets in the TNCA City Schools under-15 tournament for the B. Somasundaram Trophy here recently.

The scores: Gill Adarsh ‘A’ 105 in 23.2 (S. Vinish 32, M. Affan Khader four for 13) lost to St. Bede’s ‘B’ 107 for three in 24 overs (Dushyanth 25 not out, S. Vinish three for 26).
