DHAKA: Zaheer Khan, adjudged man of the match for his excellent bowling on a flat pitch, said he was happy with the performance and was looking ahead to repeating the feat this season.

On the conditions, Zaheer said, "Absolutely tough. The conditions here were very difficult. But the pitch was two-paced, the odd ball was keeping low at times with the new ball, which helped a lot.''

Was it his best bowling in Tests considering the conditions, Zaheer said, "Don't know if it was the best, but we analysed the conditions and tried to bowl in the right areas consistently, which helped a lot.''

Reflecting on his first five-wicket haul in three years he said, "It was very important for me. I used to feel about it a lot, so now I am delighted. The important thing is to bowl well.

"In between, I had a rough phase where I was getting injured pretty frequently. I think I have done well to get out of it and I am just looking ahead from here,'' added Zaheer.Zaheer praised Ishant Sharma for his good debut. "He is very promising. It's a very good thing that a lot of fast bowlers are coming up. If you look at Ishant, he is 6.4 [height] which is a very good thing for a fast bowler and is able to bowl such a disciplined line and length. I am very impressed with him."
