KOLKATA: Kerala and Maharashtra from Group `B' and Tamil Nadu from Group `D' made it to the quarterfinal knockout stage in the girls' section of the 29th sub-junior National volleyball championship at the WBVA courts here on Tuesday.

In a three-team league, Kerala and Maharashtra defeated Madhya Pradesh to advance. The match between the two will decide the topper. Similarly, Tamil Nadu girls won two out of its three matches and moved into the next stage.

Meanwhile, out of the 13 boys who were rejected for being overaged, the organiser decided to allow Tamil Nadu's K. Sivaraman to play after he produced certificates to prove his age.
