CHANDIGARH: Orissa Steelers consolidated its position at the top of the Premier Hockey League standings with a convincing 4-2 win over Chandigarh Dynamos here on Sunday.

Dilip Tirkey, Mario Alamada (2) and Prem Kumar scored for Steelers while Rajpal Singh, Mandeep Singh found the target for Dynamos.

Dynamos opened the account in the sixth minute. In the 12th minute, Steelers struck the equaliser from its first penalty corner through Dilip Tirkey. Steelers then took the lead in the 25th with another penalty corner conversion and Alamada made it 3-1. Though Dynamos reduced the margin, Prem Kumar sealed the match for Steelers.
