Mumbai: The Dr. S. C. Jain Sprinters' Million, to be held on Sunday (Feb. 11), is being run for the first time as a million race with a prize money of nearly Rs 11 lakhs, and a sterling silver art trophy to the winner.

In addition to the exquisite trophies, a watercolour by the renowned equine artist, Sabrina Siga, titled, "And they are off", will be offered in a contest open to the public. The Jains will also present a free portrait of the winning horse by the same artist to the owner.

Naval display

The Indian Navy will be presenting an aerial display of helibatics, combat free fall, slithering operations over the Mahalaxmi skies. The Naval band will lend a special flavour to the day.
