CHENNAI: Anna University progressed, but host Madras fell as the quarterfinal phase was gone through on Sunday in the all India inter-University squash tournament held at the ICL academy here.

Anna defeated Punjab 3-0 with Vinayak, Prasanth and Kalimuthu providing far superior to their opponents.

Madras, on the other hand, was ousted by Pune, after a fight, at 3-1.
