BANGALORE: There was no stopping the Delhi teenager, Gauri Monga, who after her brilliant even par 69 on third day to consolidate her position on top of the board, wrested the title carding 75 six over par in the gold division of the South India ladies’ amateur golf championship which concluded at the Bangalore Golf Club course here on Friday. Gauri topped with a gross of 293.

In the silver division, Renkua Philip of Bangalore, who lead all the way, took the title with a gross of 333.

Sharadha S. Rao (296) came up trumps in the bronze division, which ended on Thursday.

The results (fourth and final round): Top three: Gold division: (handicap 0-12): 1.Gauri Monga 293 (70, 79, 69, 75); 2. Shwetha Galanade 302 (74, 72, 80, 76); 3. Mehar Atwal 304 (73, 76, 76, 79).

Silver division (handicap 13-25): 1. 1. Renuka Phillip 333 (81, 84, 84, 84); 2. Shiraz Singh 338 (88, 83, 86, 81); 3. Vrinda Yadav 347 (88, 86, 87, 86).
