BANGALORE: It was double delight for Swathi H. Kumar who claimed both the girls’ under-14 and under-16 titles in the State-ranking junior tennis championship which concluded at Mandya on Friday.

Swathi bagged the under-16 crown with a 10-9 victory over Vidya Bharath in the final. In the under-14 final, she beat D. Sai Haritha 8-4.

In the boys’ category, Udaya Kumar won the under-12 and under-14 crowns.

The results (all finals): Boys: U-10: B.R. Nikshep bt Chirag 10-2; U-12: Udaya Kumar bt Prajwal Kumar 8-4; U-14: Udaya Kumar bt Goutham 10-1; U-16: Y.B. Vinay bt S.M. Sachin 10-4.

Girls: U-10: Chandna bt Nishi Shenoy 10-4; U-12: Kavya Kumar bt Shwetha Sri 10-8; U-14: Swathi H. Kumar bt D. Sai Haritha 8-4; U-16: Swathi H. Kumar bt Vidya Bharath 10-9.
