NEW DELHI: Anjali Bhagwat shot a below par 394 out of 400 to take the 28th spot in women’s air rifle in the World Cup at Beijing on Saturday. She had rounds of 98, 99, 99 and 98.

Avneet Kaur Sidhu also had a 394 following a series of 98, 100, 98 and 98, while Suma Shirur was 46th from among 79 with a 392.

Former world champion Katerina Emmons of the Czech Republic won the gold equalling the final World record with a 504.9.

In men’s trap, World champion Manavjit Singh Sandhu found himself in the 37th spot after three rounds with a 66 out of 75. Birendeep Sodhi (64) and Mansher Singh (63) were languishing in the 51st and 60th spots.
