ZURICH: FIFA has agreed to adopt the World Anti-Doping Agency’s revised drug-testing code. FIFA President Sepp Blatter on Friday met WADA chief John Fahey in Zurich and signed a letter of intent to adopt the code.

The code takes effect on January 1, 2009 and is expected to be ratified in full at the FIFA congress in May in Sydney, Australia.
