NEW DELHI: Guillermo Tarera and Tunku Iman Ibrahim scored two goals apiece as Cavalry Black defeated Cavalry Red 5-4 to win the Rao Raja Hanut Singh Cup 10-goal polo tournament at the Jaipur Polo Ground here on Sunday.

In an evenly-poised match, Tunku Iman opened the scoring for Blacks before Vishal Singh struck for the Reds. In the end, Blacks emerged winners as Vishal Chauhan scored the golden goal.

For Reds, Santiago de Estrada slotted in two and Vishal Singh scored the rest.

Meanwhile, in the Field Marshal Cariappa Cup two-goal tournament at the Army Equestrian Centre ground, Bravo defeated Aspen Crew four-and-a-half goals to four to make it to the final.

Ravi Rathore struck thrice while Arjun Patil was the other scorer for Bravo, which started with half-a-goal on handicap. For Aspen Crew Tarun Sirohi (3) and A. A. Mahmood were the scorers. — Principal Correspondent
