Qualifier Anvit Bendre made the quarterfinals as he beat another qualifier Arpit Sharma 6-3, 6-4 in the pre-quarterfinals of the Dida $15,000 ITF men’s Futures tennis tournament here on Wednesday.

Having defeated seventh seed Austin Karosi of the US 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 late on Tuesday night under the floodlights, it was a relatively easier challenge for Anvit in the second round.
