BANGALORE: The promising Indian juniors, Ajay Jayaram and Jishnu Sanyal, both of Maharashtra entered the third qualifying round of the Canara Bank senior National badminton championship at the KBA courts here on Tuesday.

Jayaram defeated Vivekananda Reddy of AP 21-4 in the best of 21 points game while, Jishnu Sanyal blanked Suresh of AP 21-0.

It was a good day for the local contenders Abhijeet Naimpally, V. Amar, Sashank Achar, Anil Pradhan and B.S. Phalgun who also moved into the third round.
