AG's Cricket Academy, Thrissur, defeated Tripunithura CC ‘B' by one wicket and entered the first phase pre-quarterfinal of the 61{+s}{+t}Royal Projects-Pooja all-India cricket tournament at the Tripunithura Palace Oval on Sunday.

The host TCC's Saby John took four wickets for 33 runs but it was in vain.

Surjith of AG's academy, who got three wickets and scored 18 runs, was adjudged as the man of the match.
