Aditya bags bronze

Aditya Mehta went down 2-4 to China’s Ding Junhui and had to settle for a bronze in the men’s snooker event on the concluding day of the fourth Asian Indoor Games at Incheon, Korea, on Saturday, according to a BSFI release here. Aditya lost 13-81, 53-66, 76-47, 97-1, 53-64, 17-63 in the semifinals.

Ding lost the final to fellow compatriot Yu Peng Cao 4-2.

India, participating under the OCA banner (without flag and anthem), finished with three medals — two bronze through Chitra Magimairaj (women) and Aditya Mehta, besides a team silver (Aditya and Brijesh Damani).
