Many pensioners get their monthly pension through nationalised banks. It has to be disbursed on the last working day of the month except in March. Quite often, the pension amount is not credited on the last working day of the month due to the non-receipt of advice from the treasuries concerned. Will the government take steps to credit the pension amount three or four days before the last working day so that banks would be in a position to disburse the same without delay?
