The last paragraph in a report "Sign of things to come: Rajnath" (February 28, 2007) was: "Even though the Shiromani Akali Dal-BJP combine has a comfortable majority, the Congress has emerged as the single largest party." The Special Correspondent clarifies that this was the position at the time the story was filed. The Congress then had more seats than the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), which finally emerged as the largest single party. A conclusion in a fluid situation was not updated.

The heading of a report was "Promise of substantial allocation for mentally ill" (Tamil Nadu, February 27, 2007, page 5), while the text stated that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi has promised that the upcoming [Tamil Nadu] State budget will have substantial allocation for the mentally challenged. There is a difference between being mentally challenged and mentally ill. (The report was on a conference organised by the All India Confederation of Organisations for Persons with Mental Disability.)

In The Hindu Crossword 8847 (February 27, 2007), clues 22 Down and 29 Across were respectively: "Wild ass of Central Asia stupidly groan (6)" and "Railing on transport I've boarded (7)". A reader points out that the answer for 22 Down "Onager" could not be got from the clue "groan", while the answer for clue 29 Across "Abusive" could not be got from the clue "on transport I've". Clue 29 Across should have been "One transport I've".
