RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places over Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry over the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: WEST RAJASTHAN: Jaisalmer 1.
MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES : The maximum temperatures rose in East Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. They were appreciably below normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 36.5ºC recorded at Sawai Madhopur (Rajasthan).
MINIIMUM TEMPERATURES : The minimum temperatures rose appreciably in east Uttar Pradesh, rose in Himachal Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. They were above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and normal in rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 13.4ºC recorded at Ayanagar (New Delhi).
FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 30th March 2013: Rain/thundershowers may occur at one or two places over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and north Rajasthan during next 48 hours and mainly dry weather thereafter. Rain/thundershowers may occur at one or two places over Uttarakhand. Weather would be mainly dry over rest of the region.
WARNING : Thunder squall could occur at one or two places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and north Rajasthan during next 48 hours.
